Feathers of bright scarlet, crimson and gold. Reminiscent of a burning sunset painting the sky at twilight and the glory of the setting sun, is Phoenix. This being, upon reaching the end of its long lived life, created a nest out of the most delectable aromatic spices. As Phoenix settled into the nest, this being of crimson feathers would set it alight to be consumed in the fiery flames. From the charcoal ashes, a new Phoenix would emerge. The Phoenix has since become a powerful symbol of immortality and regeneration.
